Touchers Say wha! And Sunday's game

TOUCH BASE!!!

OMGWTFBBQ! The Grape Knights couldn't pull together enough people to play.  They've forfeit the game!  Toucher get their first win of the season!
So, no game Sunday.  Stay home or hang out.
Julie, Marc, Mike, Shaunna, Ian and Laura.  If you post your games for Sunday here, you might get some spectators, since we don't have any game to go to.

Tonight!

Monday Captains,

Or should I say makers of rain?
Tonight is in question.
We will see how the day progresses.

Worst case scenario if tonight is canceled then we will do the same
thing I did with Thursday which is to squeeze in an extra time slot on
the Saturday of Monday games.
The majority of the q-final games would be played in the 11:20am slot.
Additional games would be moved to the later slots where I have openings.
This will in some case create over laps and conflicts for players with
teams on other nights.
I tried my best to avoid this but we will have no choice.
I will update the PDF file on the site later today and will email you
later in the afternoon.

Finalized Ultimate Playoffs Schedule

We have received confirmation on our playoff schedule!  The following schedule will hold true, assuming that we do not win our games on Friday or Saturday, although the teams that we play against will be dependent upon their performances as well.  Following is my prediction, please, no offense intended to any other teams who might be reading our blog in hopes of gleaning Base Toucher-busting secrets, or any fellow Touchers!  You know I love all of you.

22 Aug 6:30 vs. Chaquita Commies, A 4
23 Aug 6:55 vs. Craptaculars, MODS 6
24 Aug 3:20 vs. Grape Knights, MG 5A

Don't forget the Grand Opening Ceremonies:
23 Aug 12:10 somewhere at the MODS fields

Again, I'm going to be trying to keep track of who's coming to the games, so we can touch base with the other team if we can't make up enough players.  So please rsvp.  jbutchard@franticfilms.com
