Registering with MODS

Hi Guys,

The League needs the following people to register online as you have not yet and they're having trouble tracking fees. The following people have not and need to:

- Julie Arnal
- Marc Lafontaine
- Stacy Stanley Young
- Mike Martin
- Dana Larose
- Laura Cardiff
- Matt Sabourin

That's how I entered you into the team listing so let me know if I spelled your name wrong or something. To register go to http://mods.mb.ca/site/ look to the left hand side and click on create new account under the MODS registration section.

Also, I have been informed that we are more than likely secured for a spot on Monday nights! We paid up last night so everything should be good to go! I have a meeting next Monday night and I am expecting I will get the schedule then and we will start the week after that.

Yellow T-Shirts

At the inaugural team practice on Sunday, April 27th, it was decided that:

1) Yes, we will be getting team t-shirts
2) Yes, they will be yellow t-shirts

All that's left to decide is what design we wish to adorn said t-shirts
with. Bring on the ideas!

Some already suggested are:
- Ken's head
- A disc with Ken's hair
- A baseball glove and ball
- tour locations with catchprases - i.e. 'Churchill Park - Circle Back;
St. Vital Park - Touch Base', etc.

Good Practice

I guess we will have the prctice. It is a wee bit chilly but maybe we can just bundle up, chat, learna little about the game and call it a day hopefully not too late to avoid all catching colds. See you there at 3:00 today. If you're looking for me I am driving a red grand am and will hopefully be ther around 10 to 3 so we can all find each other. Just as an FYI - Stacey from corp has joined up, as well, my boyfriend Mike is going to come out and see what the deal is today as well.

type in st. vital park, winnipeg in google maps.  Follow the road in. keep driving until you see the duck pond on your left. the parking lot is directly across the pond from the road.  keep driving and follow the signage. It's not a big park so you'll find your way.

Team Practice

Hey everyone!

Just a reminder that our team practice is at St. Vital park this Sunday April 27, 2008 at 3:00pm. Please meet in the parking lot by the duck pond. We will find a nice little spot to practice once we're there.

The weather is also looking like crap for the weekend right now, so please check out our little blog site here on Sunday morning to see if it's a go.

Also, as an FYI, we will discuss the team shirts at the practice as well so bring your good ideas!
